Edgic/Winner Contenders after episode 1! For those of you who are unfamiliar with edgic, please refer to the photos below - Episode 1 Edgic! The main important thing to point out from the episode 1 edgic is that we have 4 winner contenders emerging from each tribe, with Aleem dominating Tulgey, Sarah dominating Liddell, Dayle dominating Dinah, and Malcolm dominating Momerath. There are side characters within each tribe worth noting, but the focus of episode 1 is on these main characters.
Felix of Tulgey and Hugo of Liddell present themselves as OTT, but this mainly stems from their over the top way of approaching the game. Noteworthy MOR players include Gerda of Momerath, who manages to slide by with a negative edit after bombing the slide puzzle, and Anna Lynn of Dinah who managed to win everyone over while staying a bit more behind the scenes than Dayle. Everyone else's storylines have yet to emerge, will this occur in episode 2? Only time will tell..

Episode 2 edgic is in! In this episode, we see Dayle skyrocket to the top of the winner contenders section, due to her flawless ability to shift the target off of Monte and onto Tushara. Aleem remains towards the top after securing a hidden immunity idol and continuing to run Tulgey. Anna Lynn emerges as a contender with her flawless interactions on Dinah and her ability to adapt her agenda to those on her tribe. And Malcolm remains a contender, though his stock plummets a bit due to lack of screentime.
Other noteworthy characters this round include Rizo, who was very visible in the episode as a character sitting pretty in a sea of game players. Alex, who the fans find themselves rooting for as he plots his revenge against Momerath, Carly who is able to secure an individual immunity necklace via the idol hunt, and Anders who shows himself to be a main character on Momerath, but his positive and negative moments really clash with each other. Unfortunately, due to lack of development, Liddell has very little screentime, though Hugo and Sarah have their moments.

Some important things to note about the episode 3 edgic include Anna Lynn rising to the top contender spot, with Aleem in a solid second place. Dayle drops from the winner contenders list due to an unfortunate swap. Rizo rises to the #3 contender spot, due to his ability to win everyone on his tribe over and have a hand in controlling the narrative. Malcolm remains in a consistent position, and as a result remains in the #4 position.
Other noteworthy storylines includes Sarah's determination to play a harder game than she played on OG Liddell, as well as her desire to keep the women in the game safe. Malcolm's perseverance through the challenge/keeping his tribe morale high. Leanna/Anders rubbing members of their tribe the wrong way, as well as their ups/downs throughout the challenge, and Felix's quest to pull Brenton in and flip the current tribe dynamic on its head (and targeting Leanna/Anders as a result).

Noteworthy edgic from episode 4 -
Aleem continues to be in the most solid spot on swapped Liddell, and we see him ponder future rounds with his OTT counterpart Felix. Rizo completely controls the narrative on Dinah alongside his trusted ally Anna Lynn. Alicia starts to show her ruthless side in cutting OG tribe member Erin N, and her cutthroat nature starts to peak its head.
Felix is OTT due to random paranoid statements, his potentially game changing conversation with Brenton, and his constant scrambling on the tribe. Anders continues to be a central topic of conversation on Liddell, people either love him or want him out ASAP. We start to see some positive development in Brenton's story, as he starts to pick up the pace and bond with his tribe. Both Hugo and Malcolm are playing solid games on Momerath, but Momerath has not faced adversity once at this swap so their story remains underdeveloped. Hoping we can see more development from Momerath members in the coming episodes.

On Momerath, we saw a total malfunction in Malcolm's gameplay. He played too hard too quick, and had many people questioning their loyalty to him. Standouts from that tribe include Dayle, who was able to remain cool calm and collected during the craziness, and Hugo for pushing his own agenda and making sure that his ideal outcome is the outcome that happened. Hugo was the heroic sense of reason that Momerath needed. Carly also seemed to go a bit crazy, but it was not to a degree that will negatively impact her game.
On Liddell, we saw Aleem ponder the power he has with the upcoming swap. We saw Felix ponder these thoughts with Aleem, showing only a regard for their own games and no regard for those around them. Everyone else on Liddell comes out with an UTR edit.
On Dinah, we see Rizo continue to be in people's long term plans. We see Alicia as an individual who will likely be in the center of multiple groups in the next swap, and we see Anna Lynn/Sarah chill as they remain safe with a solid challenge performance.

Noteworthy edgic for episode 6 includes the following
Swapped Cheshire is a mess! LOL! We see Carly/Alicia go crazy with their own paranoia, but ultimately their choice to go to rocks add a stroke of heroism to their edit. We see Aleem go crazy with his decision to play the idol, and ultimately choose to play it on himself. We see a very strong showing from Felix strategically, only for him to get rocked out. We see the SURPRISING villain mastermind Sarah emerge as a contender with her great reads. We see Rizo battle with his own choices within the tribe and his best move. We see Brenton win over people with his genuinely kind nature, but ultimately receive votes due to being a safe option. Definitely the best showing we've seen from a tribe all season!
Dormouse had some development as well. We see Hugo make a potentially game changing decision by filling in Gerda on Malcolm's meltdown last round. We see Gerda's edit shine as she breaks away from that initial loyalty and starts acting in her best interest. We see Anna Lynn use her charm and likability to win the tribe over, ESPECIALLY the rootable relationship between Gerda/Anna Lynn, which is currently thriving. Anders, Leanna, and Malcolm remain pretty UTR this round.

Final edgic of season 5!! Overall, the bright colors we see towards the end of the season shows how strong everyone's merge showing was. We watch Gerda/Leanna travel from UTR to winner contenders. We watch Anders develop into a positive force in the game. We see Brenton remain consistently positive from start to finish. Huge players like Anna Lynn, Sarah, Hugo, Rizo, and Alicia meet their demise as the underestimated players take over. We also watch Malcolm, an early contender become our merge boot. Great season overall!
